This is probably my favorite on the Merrymakers album. To me it's about a guy who is totally into a girl but she doesn't acknowledge his existence. Because of how she makes him feel, he thinks he would have been better off never knowing her in the first place. The woolly muffler or scarf is an awesome metaphor. I also love the bitterness with which Sean describes hands growing together and people turning against him. It's powerful.
