I think that the character reaches the top of the mountain. puts the crystal skull in the hands of that moosey "three horned face" at the top and then i think he dies happy and relieved of his burden. Siberian Divide ends with the character determined to make it to the top and i think the overall tone of pendulous skin is of having a great weight lifted off of you.
