Guys, I feel sorry for this guy Masterofpuppets80, he seems to be very angry. But maybe thats because he is so stupid after all, maybe he ought to read a little about Sid Vicious. Sid Vicious wrote this song to piss people of, just like he wore a swastika and all the other things he did. Obviously he succeded pretty well Masterofpuppets80 :) cos you are one of those guys who just can't appreciate some good old "make me mad, I want to break a window just for the heck of it"-music, which Sex Pistols whole idea was. And it's a shame you can't feel that way, cos it's one of the greatest feelings there is, you feel powerfull and stong, but you stick with your metallica and other bad music
and Boss Man, Nancy got killed by Sid Vicious, and thats why Sid Vicious killed himself later on
@jabe05 In a very real way, you're view on the song is correct: it's very dark humour - with a strong anti-violence message. You can't try to tell people this if they haven't got the nouse to see it. The other thing you mention is that the Pistols whole purpose was to annoy and aggravate. That was a minor, inconsequential part of the thing, but as a longtime fan, I picked up immediately on their inherent humour. I think that was their much overlooked (and entirely missed) strong suit. It's sarcastic/dark humour, but humour nonetheless. Americans would never pick up...

But in all, the song isn't racist, sexist, ageist or any kind of 'ist' other than 'moronist'. That was their entire agenda in my view
