I think this guy takes his girl.. and he looks up to him, so he compensates by behaving like this guy that got his girl so he can level up to him or something in his mind, and he brags about how he gets the same rewards as him and it just took less of a time because he just imitated this guy rather than developing like a healthy person would as a personality.
