This song is, yes, an attack on the 'scene' that FOB has become a part of (if you can call it that). These themes have been showing up since their FUCT days.

However, this song is also a DIRECT RESPONSE to Taking Back Sunday's "Spin," which was a song mocking FOB's rise to fame. Adam writes in Spin, referring to fame in the music industry, "I heard that this is where, where the party is..." and Pete responds with, "Crashing not like hips and cars but more like parties." It's pretty clear.

However, FOB also makes it clear they don't care who wins or loses in this "feud." But Pete definitely wanted to have the last word.
