Does anyone else see a deeper meaning in the song than just "having sex is good?"
"fuck a dollar and a dream"
When he says dream, to me it reminds me of the American Dream, or of the "I Have a Dream" speech. It's like he's saying, based on his background, he isn't able to succeed in life the "honest" way.
"I still tote gats strapped with infrared beams"
Because he has to live an unhonest life, he can't go anywhere without bringing protection.
"Money, hos, and clothes is all a nigga knows
A foolish pleasure, whatever
I had to find the buried treasure
So-so-so-so-so-so grams I had to measure"
Society around him has taught him what he should wear, how he should act, and who he should associate with. Because of this, he had to do things that he may not have wanted to just to meet these demands.
I dunno, maybe I'm just over analyzing it, and even if it is just about picking up chicks and shit, it's still a pretty cool song.
