I agree with everyone above. This is one of the best Beach Boys songs they recorded; a flawless cover. Though it was the late 70s and they had strayed far from their 'golden era' sound, suddenly you hear them here as good as ever. Although the true musicianship of doo-wop music is special, this is the best version in the sense of commercial appeal - it just sounds so good. 'Come Go With Me' was one of the first songs that started getting The Beach Boys out of their dark and forgettable period that had started after 'Pet Sounds' in 1966/67
