It is a winter day
The sky shimmers white
Untouched worlds
Clouds drift past
Still as in Fairyland
Peace before the storm
On the horizon the sunlight
Shining brilliant red
And a snowman looks up
And follows the course of the sun
And the snowman looks at her*
Lays his heart in her hand
And the birds fly past
And a heart of ice breaks
And the sun shines on him
Her dress burns on the land
And the clouds drift past
And a heart of ice breaks
Hidden worlds
Radiant green in white
Dew weighs the earth
Colors out of past time
Tides pull onward,
The sky dyes itself red
A scarf is caught by the wind,
Peace before death
And the snowman looks up
And follows the course of the sun
And the snowman looks at her
Lays his heart in her hand
And the birds fly past
And a heart of ice breaks
And the sun shines on him
Her dress burns on the land
And the clouds drift past
And a heart of ice breaks
Heart of ice
Heart of ice
And the snowman looks at her
*properly, this should be "it" in English, but I prefer to keep "her" because it seems to me the snowman is in love with the sun ......
