Ugh. First of all he isn't saying anything about a 'formed meal'. Bloc Party's lyrics are weak but not that weak. It's "I watch TV to fool me". Also- I'm about 95% sure it's "I'm going to Rome" not 'I'm going to Roam'.
It's "I watched TV, it informed me"
And how can you say that Bloc Party's lyrics are weak?
Most songs on this album have deep social, religious or political meanings.
None of this Boy & Girl rubbish which is what predominantly floods the music industry of today.

I agree, this album is a work of art lyrically! No romantic shit like absolutely everyone else(slight exageration)! And to further my point you look like an idiot now for trying to make someone else look like an idiot but getting it wrong! "I'm going to roam"!?! does "heads are going to roll" not make a little more sense!?

Ok guys, I'm a big Bloc Party fan, but let's be serious for a moment, I can understand that you guys are trying to defend a band that you like by saying they have good lyrics, but no matter what spin you put on it or how much you try to stretch the truth, they still are very weak lyrically and always have been. They are a good band but come on guys, grow up and have a serious discussion about music instead of just saying that they have good lyrics when it's clear that they don't... you are...

Huggonator, before you call romantic music "rubbish" you need to actually understand the emotions that go along with a "boy girl" relationship. The joy, the heartbreak. It is a VERY powerful thing. Same for you smackjackthecrackerman. It inspires a lot of music because it is a very emotionally charged thing. Actually try going through something like that before you post a stupid comment. I don't even listen to hardly any romance music, but you get my drift. Anyway, this song is fantastic.

I just want to clarify that I agree it's refreshing that this band isn't lovey-dovey. I was just defending people's right to write music about what they want.
