It's "one day we will learn to grieve".
Everything else sounds alright though.
To me, it's about suffocation. And about a man who sees a woman so pressured by society that he fears he's losing her to someone she's not.
Being pressured by your peers is losing your identity in a sea of conformity.
And when you lose yourself, others live for you. They decide how you dress, eat, talk, etc.
It deadens you.
"You are so young, so feel alive
And one day you will live on your own"
"Baby I'd leave you for the person you used to be"
"Oh, you were always on the ground
You're always on the ground
If I could catch you, I would hold you for a day
Oh, won't you do this when you can
Do what you can"

That's how I hear it, at least.
