It's hard to say which is my favorite song by Paul Young, it's a toss up between this and Love of the Common People. The guy had such a great voice I'm surprised he didn't become more bigger then he was on the music scene. I was able to relate to this song much more though of the two.
It's not that I have the right to tell you which one of the two songs is better or which one of the two you should like the most, but since this is a site for interpretation and/or sharing of personal experiences which serve to give meaning to a song, it would have been useful that you told us why do you relate more to "Come Back and Stay". That's what I've been doing on other songs, at least.
