The band are so used to having one scene listen to their music. The same sorts of people can make life boring after a while.
I think that the singer, or whoever the song is about, is probably sitting in a bar, reflecting on life and wondering what the hell he wants to do with his future. The bartender is talking to him, giving his some advice maybe, hense the "tip the 'tender for his generous words." bit.
I think that its quite an "in your face" song. Maybe they're attacking at a certain group of people? I think the "I'm calling all bars tonight. Pour me a glass, but don't be cheap with the wine." is almost like a slap in the face to the straight-edge scene, saying "Y'know what? I'm going to drink as much as I like..."
