I'm probably WAY off. But by some of the lyrics, it sounds like it could be about music being fake nowadays and bands being in the music industry just for the money, especially off these little gothix-emo-scene kids.
"those young fists clenched in the air
make a million millionaires"
and
"What's the sound of a cashing check?"
it makes me think of people being at a show and putting their fists in the air, and the millionaires and check-cashing part talking about how the band is making money off the kids at those shows.
"And all those black-haired bandits try to lure me down with their songs and choir, choir, choir"
It makes me think of emo kids with their black hair, and how it's such a trend now, and people are just buying into the music because of that.
"I'd rather shoot up a syringe filled with fire, fire, fire
than go to bed with sounds so vacant and tired, tired, tired."
Like saying that you'd rather 'shoot up a syringe filled with fire' than listening to their music, because it's really just overdone and forced rather than something with meaning.
"Like speakers crushed beneath an empty tank blowing the ugly off an airbrushed face."
Again, this reminds me of music being overdone and fake.
Again, I could be totally wrong. That's just my take on it.
