one of the most moving songs i have heard in a while. it basically gives the narrator's newfound perspective on life, but he issues it as if he is trying to convince his friends to follow him. he also adds a few statements about politics and society that seem to fly below the radar ("The God I believe in never worked on a campaign trail" and "you're beating with a book everyone, the book tells you to love" obviously separate statements of equal validity against both the President and elitist/militant christians, although the narrator does seem to allude to the fact that he believes in Christianity). This song is spiritually powerful because after the anger in YFW and the confusion and the sense of loss in Deja the band finally seems to take a move towards hope. That all the screaming along to sad songs in the car and lying around your problems will get you nowhere. it's time to face your problems.
