I concur with DF Ash, the whole "call you on my cellular phone" thing is sort of like trying to force yourself to assimilate into this new era but it doesnt exactly feel right, because you wanna just be back as an angsty 80s child again.

and as has been previously stated, there a ton of other 80s references juxtaposed with allusions to more modern culture strengthening the idea that all of a sudden the singer's grown up and he misses all the things he loved as a teenager and yeah basically this song kicks ass
