There's just one nitpicky, anal retentive thing to say (besides Byres Rd, which Uber_Geek caught); in Ink Polaroids and other of Stuart David's writing, his wife's name is always written as "Karn" (or, more often, "Wee Karn"), not Karen.
I have also always thought of Elvis as a cat. A very vividly, insightfully described cat, too. Great song to daydream to. I know why SD left B&S, but I think the band could use a good injection of SD's spirit right about now.
