I just can't belive the conversation going on. Can't anyone appreciate each song for what it is?
Sigur Ros fans, consider this: This cover has opened up the beauty and emotion of Sigur Ros' music to so many people, myself included.
Thursday is my favorite band of all-time(I still can't figure out why... there isn't much emo/screamo/whatever-genre-they-are that I like other than them) and I heard the cover of Ny Batteri one day almost by chance. I saw that it was a cover and I was really curious about the band which they were covering. So, I looked it up and got some Sigur Ros stuff. It's beautiful. But completely different.
COMPLETELY DIFFERENT. You cant compare the two bands. Artistically and talent-wise, maybe Sigur Ros is better. But there is just something about Thursday that I cannot ignore... it is raw emotion.
They are so good, both bands. I love them both. It's just a matter of opinion.
