The lyrics echo his sentiments in his earlier song "Heaven," where he sings "I don't need no proof when it comes to God and truth..." The only thing that bothers me is that the Buddha didn't really teach the "world about love" in the same way that Jesus did. The Buddhist approach to freedom of the heart is radically different than the Christian approach and this song seems to muddle the two philosophies.
