1st of all: It's quite strange to see Bob Smith writting such a happy lyrics! He probably was in a (VERY) good mood when he did this one. Well, I think his fans tend to believe he's a dark person all the way, but this one is a proof that (maybe) he has been just played the character of the terribly sad/ultra-melancholic boy all this time... It's a kind of involuntary funny thing to read lines as "For rip-zipping button-popping" coming out from Bob's lipstick mouth.
Anyway, it's a lovely, lovely, lovely pop song and it talks about a couple who have lived in an almost complete depression while the girl has considered everything is lost for them and nothing is able to take them from this situation indeed.
