This song means the world to me
it's helped me through all the sh*t ive been through recently and if it were'nt for Crossfade and their meaningful lyrics, i, i dunno where id be!!!
most likely living in a hole or else doing some really random crazy stuff!
all in all, this song i believe portrays how so many people leave things behind; whether that be a friend, family, a loved one or their own souls. sad yes, but this song brings forth all there is to know about how many people deal with losses and grief and how anger can overwhelm ones feelings and make them close off the world around them.
also, here in the lyrics, Crossfade makes the point:
"What could you possibly want from me
Can't you see I'm already gone
Everything we thought we'd be
I still don't feel sorry for this loss"
meaning that because someone left something/someone, they cannot understand why they are wanted back when they were rejected before.
petty and simple, id recommend this song be played at my funeral; or else really loudly to cover up the sound of me crying...
