I love this song. I think it´s about a relationship ending, because of the alcohol. They both had drinking problems, and they both were depressed. So they drank to feel better but as known, you only feel better when you drink, not the days after.
The song discribes just the way it feels when you´re addicted to alcohol but still wants to stop drink. The sick thing is that I can relate to this song and I know what it feels like when you wake up the day after drinking being filled with anguish.
