hmm i think the hell he's talking about is life itself.. not hell as in the hell you go to after you die. but he's saying that life on earth has become so ugly that it's equvilant to hell..

Those who believe in big things (such as religion) really do it to satisfy their need for some answers, so they think they find the Truth in religion or whatever it might be.. but really it's all a lie.
