I think this is probably my favorite Nickel Creek song ever, and listening to it now makes me sad to know that next year they're going to call it quits. I wanted at least one more album out of them, but it seems it's not meant to be... Which kind of ties right back into this song—impermanence, the human futility of attempting to control the uncontrollable.
