Could anyone help me out with two idioms in that song? I am German, so I did not get all the meaning:
1.: What's "Tango and gin"? Is it Gin and Tonic?
2.: Mt. Pleasant messiahs?
@erkse Not 100% sure about Tango and gin, but I think it refers to a cocktail that uses a soda drunk mainly in the UK. The Mt. Pleasant messiahs is referencing psychiatric ward patients, specifically the stereotype (at least in the US) that every psych ward "must" have at least one resident that claims to be some type of messiah, usually the living embodiment of Jesus.
