The Thrill of It All Lyrics

cool song...

Every word I use Each crumpled page Strange ideas Mature with age Like leaves When autumn falls Turn gold Then they hit the ground Every time I hear The latest sound It's pure whiskey Reeling round and around My brain Oh and all o' that jive It's driving me wild - The dizzy spin I'm in

I get the feeling that these lines are about writting music

And that the rest of song, the lines that are directed towards a female figure such as:

Everywhere I look I see you face I hear your name It's all over the place Hey girl Though you've gone Still I recall The thrill of it all

could relate to the idea of a muse behind the creation of music... But his could merely be my best attempt to correlate to unrelated strands of thought...

It's an excellent analysis. Roxy fans are the finest.

Get over myself? NEVER ☺

God bless you and Donald Trump. (PS thanks for the scintillating commentary)
