I didn't even know he was coming out with something new, awesome! he just performed this song on conan, so yay, it sounds awesome. i love the end bits.
to me it's about a girl changing in a lot of ways, not for the better, and he's always been there for her and bends over backward to make things good for her, and she's pushing him away and being negative, and he just wishes she wouldn't. he does everything she wants him to, afterall. =P
