This is Henley' critique on TV Evangelism and the scandals of the late 80's.
"Six Flags Over Jesus" refers to the PTL theme park that Jim Baker built in NC.
"Little Dark Motel Rooms" refers to both Jim Baker's liasons with his secretary and Jimmy Swaggert's rendevous with New Orleans' Hookers.
"The Cowboy's name was Jingo" could be a Reagan Reference or a reference to Rev. Jerry Fallwell of the Moral Majority.
It's a scathing but very insightful crticism of TV and Evangelical church in that time.
