Okay, I'm going to try to analyze this. Even though it probably wasn't what Cibo Matto intended, it's worth a shot.. xD

The first line. "The velocity of time turns her voice into sugar water." - Sugar water being, something nutritious that's nutritional value is lost after being mixed with the sugar. The more time goes on, the more her voice loses it's touch? Or what it was meant to portray? Not entirely sure.

This song almost tells a kind of story, as evidenced in the following verses.

"I'm on a concrete way" suggests walking on a sidewalk. "The wind is blowing to the north-northwest", Maybe this would mean she's almost being forced to walk faster because of the pressure of the wind. "It smells like sands of the southern island" , so is she going towards the southern islands? We don't know yet.

"When a black cat crosses my path" - The black cat may possibly denote bad luck, or misfortune.

"A woman in the moon is singing to the earth" Almost like a fable, or fairytale.. People always call it the man in the moon, but I always saw it as a woman. Singing to the earth is a tad confusing, is she trying to calm it or something? Haven't quite figured that out yet. But.. what I do figure is the "La La La" chorus is her singing to it.

"I'm riding on a camel that has big eyes" , somehow she got a hold of a camel and is now using it for transportation, or perhaps she already had it. The big eyes could symbolize naivete, the camel may be unaware of it's surroundings and is only trying to do the job it was set out to do.

"The buildings are changing into coconut trees, little by little". This says she probably -was- headed towards the islands, and the further into them she goes the more the buildings seem to disappear. It's like going from technology to something more simple.

A black cat crosses by again and the woman in the moon is still singing to the earth as this happens.

"We are taking sugar water shower, shower" - So the voice of the song is now degrading themselves by bathing in sugar water? Maybe the singer was the woman in the moon themself.. Again, this is a weird analysis but just bear with me. >_>;

So perhaps the song is talking about traveling back to times when people didn't depend so much on electronics, or just going back in time entirely. All the way to when it was only the moon 'singing' to the earth to keep it preoccupied. Maybe even giving into the sins of today, sugar water being the bad part of life. The entire song she tries to go back, but she ends up merely reverting into what she'd been at the beginning of the story; a soul mislead by sugar water.

...I'm insane, I know.
