I'm sort of upset with this new song. Its still really good, but not Senses Fail good.
First off- Way less screaming
Second-Buddy's vocals aren't standing out as much. I love the raspyness of his voice, and here. its barely noticable.
I think its a great song, but it doesnt impress me compared to the old stuff.
I'm also concerned that they're gonna become a mainstream band, only because they changed, not of who they really are. I guess i'll have to wait and see.
Bands mature all the time, look at dredg, they started out as guttural roaring/wannabe.
Now look at them. They cleaned up the vocals and did they sell out? No. I'm not saying Senses Fail is going to be the next dredg but bands mature, as do people, its inevitable. Like youreworthmoredead and nose over tails say, it's still Senses Fail, but they know what they are doing better now.
