i beg to differ, guys. page france is mos def a christian band. they're not listed as a christian band anywhere, but they're definitely a spiritual band of very religious fellows (and whitney). this song is about Jeuss being resurrected. they don't litterally mean Jesus came up through the ground, that's just to mean he was brought back from the dead. we all know Jesus was burried in a tomb not in the ground, but in modern context he would've been burried in the ground. i guess that's what they're trying to say.
and also--littleunicornboy, where did you gather that they are getting drunk? drinking wine doesn't mean you're getting drunk. (remember, communion includes wine.) and dancing isn't a sin. that'd be ridiculous. dancing is beautiful, especially when with Jesus.
