Damn, this is a catchy song. Never have gotten into dance / techno, but I love the work he did for 'Gone in 60' with "Never Gonna Come Back Down". Nice voice, too.
McGowan is perfect for this. I wonder if he specified it be an actress (due to the theme). Excellent choice with her voice's natural breathlessness, tone, and easily recognised phrasing. (Being a fan of 'Charmed' I recognised her voice without knowing the credits of the song. It's distinctive.)
As for the lyrics themselves, at the very end of the BT / Doughty "Never Gonna Come Back Down" he uses an almost identical clip, and the words to that, following the laughter, is: "That was fucking excellent, man." Here, it sounds like "That was fucking genius." (Forgive the language; just telling it like it is.)
As for the missing word, how about "wing" ?
