In a nutshell, it's about a man who has lost his identity (and left his family), but slowly remembers who he is through the movie. However, the song looks like it might be merely influenced by the movie, not about it. My opinion: Relationships get stale sometimes. Sometimes you just wake up next to someone you went to bed loving and the feelings just aren't there anymore.
