I thought it was sort of about how people try to follow Jesus in many differnt ways, sometimes ways other people don't like "they paint it colors i can't stand" but it all comes down to the same message "but they will not touch it's heart".
Sometimes people try to tone the gospel down or change it to try and make it more appealing to other people "they stick tacky ornaments on it and they sell it to the kids" but no matter what people do the true message will live on. "but there's still a voice in it ".
