On Siren’s “All Is Forgiven,” Jon Brant, Kristen Massey and company basically put out a better effort than Brant's former band, Cheap Trick and their “Lack of Luxury,” released one year earlier! This was sweet revenge for Jon after the record company execs forced him out and RE-replaced him with has-been Tom Petersson ('Sick Man Of Europe', indeed!) and Cheap Trick, despite his having been a part of four of the best Cheap Trick
albums ever: “One On One,” “Next Position Please,” “The Doctor” and the awesome “Standing On The Edge.”
Every song on “All Is Forgiven” is outstanding as is the Bass work (did you hear that: Rick, Bun E. Robin and Tom?), and there was even a very good video from the title track, "All is Forgiven.". Problems started after a fast start for this band and infighting beteen the first of two drummers (they later HAD to change the name of the group to 'Red Siren', because guitarist Robert Haas (some called him 'Ass') had stolen it from another Chicago area band. Haas then started a relationship with Massey and it was all down hill from there... Too bad ….This is a four star LP!
