No one is really getting the major point here. It is not about being against the war. It really isn't about being anti-war at all.

When it says "Big planes flying in the sky, makes me worry....." then "sometimes, I wish to fly away" then "but you can't judge a book when looking at the cover...".

It is about having an opinion on the war. It is about everyone's opinion on the war. The ones who hate the idea that we are at war.... why do they? And the ones who love the fact that we are at war, why do they? They only see what is on TV. The planes in the sky, and the bombs in the air. The song basically states that everyone is seeing the few things that the media wants us to see. So they immediatley they make a decision based on a few things they have seen on TV in the past. We don't know the inside storys, we just see the "cover of the book" by listening to the media.

He says "Big plains flying in the sky makes me worry...BUT you can't judge a book when looking at the cover". He is saying that the things he hears and see make him nervous just like anyother person, but he isn't going to be making a biast opinion on the few small things he is seeing on television.

Which is more or less the opinion that I have, and have had on the war. I can't make my opinions based on Fox News, or CNN ect... So I am stuck with having no educated opinion on the war. SO I leave it alone. Anything the media tells us is bullshit. I never believe a thing the media tells me.

The bands point is, we all know nothing about this, but yet we are so judgemental an opinionated about it.

Mainly people see a couple things, and their minds are made up.

Its the band complaining about the ignorant people that know SO much, but yet know oh so little.
