The Weekend - This song was written to my High School Sweetheart (Jeneane).. after we broke up... 4 years!! is a long freaking time! hehe But after time.. the song kinda became more about Summer after changing some of the words around.. The song explains itself... if you listen.. i love the line "the places that your go at night, are secrets in the back of your mind" so true for alot of you girls and boys out there!!!! and if any of you think your second best in a relationship! leave it! If you have limewire or the RE Released Version of (Having to let go) this song has a bit harder edge to it at the end.. alot of people were mad we didnt do that on the album version.. but i wanted it to be more ambient and pretty the whole way thru for the record. Were gonna start doing this song live.. .just me on a acousitc soon.
