I really don't know but Sky Cruiser could be the sun itself. The sun is "there when the morning comes," flies through the night, brings a new day, appears after the rain etc. There are some holes in that theory but it's an idea. Also the sky cruiser single art features a drawing of two silhouetted men, with one pointing at a UFO streaking through the sky.
