First off, this song is amazing and appeals to me SoOoOo much. This is just my take on the song because I'm in kind of the same situation.
In the first verse, it sounds like she's just woken up from another night of sleeping with another man. She's not happy with sleeping with guys she doesn't know, but she does it to feel loved and wanted because he one guy that she wants, doesn't love her.
In the chorus she keeps asking him where does she fit in into his life and how does he feel about her. She wants to know what she can say to make him want her in a certain way. She can't take knowing he's with other girls besides her. Because she wants to be with him.
In the second verse, she's saying how everyday just seems the same now. And she's become numb to everything. She wants to be with him, even if it means being just another girl who he sleeps with regularly.
She finally gets tired of the game they're playing and when she tells him its over he shrugs it off like she was nothing to him. She starts to miss him and calls just to hear his voice. He says that nothing's changed between them but he doesn't see how much he means to her.
