As for the song its about the main character in JT Leroy's book - everytime the song was performed live she dedicated it to him - at the time the whole hoax thing hadnt surfaced it was still believed to be true (album came out in 2001 the hoax stuff sdidnt circulate till 2004/5 when BLM was being recorded)
Love the song to bits one of my favourite Garbage tracks - perfect pop - its got everything - great pop songs have handclaps and bababas or in this case the refrain "Go Baby Go!" I put it up there with Supervixen, Vow, Push It and Paranoid - the LeRoyaleMix which is heavier is awesome too!
