I don't know...my theory behind this song is kind of simple. Obviously, Otep is extremely talented and creative. And obviously, from what I've gathered from her music...she's gone through a lot of pain. So I think this song is more or less just about the pain and strife, self-conciousness and insecurity she may feel. It's everything she feels in her head that runs through her mind, released on paper and through song. It's the way society tries to brainwash us. She realizes no one can save her from this, so her solution will be her voice, her poems, her songs. Look at the lyrics really closely, it's not hard to interpret. It's just a deep, intense, emotional song; it's her release. About her feelings and her art. Either way, that's my thoughts on it...wish I could explain it a wee bit better. ^_^ Wonderful song, though...it's so powerful and so fucking intense it gives me cold chills when I listen to it. Insanely, yet beautifully creepy in a way...especially if you're in total pitch darkness when you're listening to it. 'Nuff said. o.O
