This is a cover version I remember other country artists singing when I was a kid back in the late '60s-early '70s. When I hear all the different fruits used in these wines, it makes me think about the times I've had somebody's homemade wine, which are made from a certain berry or cherry. When these types of fruits ferment and turn into wine, the alcohol content is much higher than trad. wines from varietal grapes. Usually this wine is poured into just regular water glasses with a heavy hand so you're consuming at least 10-12 oz. of 18% + alcoholic fruit juice--which it does seem like you're drinking at first until suddenly this stuff'll knock you for a loop.
