I love this song, but I am kinda confused about what exactly its saying. It's like a break up song for sure, yet it's upbeat. It's saying he knows the end is near and he's thinking about the simple things that you miss so much. (And shadows blend one last time, save those kisses). I can kind of relate cause in some parts of the song, he's trying to convince her not to go. I think when he says and when all things close all I wish never change these distances, he's saying that maybe their romantic relationship is over, but he they are close and he still wants them to be that way, he doesn't want distance between them.
