Well anyways, i'm gonna try to come up with some 'meaning' for these lyrics cause i'm fucking bored.
Sounds like it's about some dude who's In a hospital, with family around him, but names himself as 'the thing' under the covers as a sign of not having any self respect. But this bloke is a bit fucked up and insane, The blurting out of all these images, to do with family and the hospital environment shows this aided by the mad vocals. Anyways, 'your lover' frequently repeated so maybe that's whats fucked him up.
