I don't think this song is about a relationship with Christ, I think its more about Reese and his music.
This is just an interduction to this now album by this new band, it's just to start things of in with some personality. The whole first verse is just him making fun of himself, that's what makes him so cool, he's so humble and he doesn't think highly of himself.
I like the ending "Neither hot nor cold. This is getting old" this might have something to do with him and Godm but I'm not sure.
