Pachycephalosaurus: The name Pachycephalosaurus means “Thick Headed Lizard” and is used to describe a species of dinosaur known for its armor-like, dome shaped skull. It was originally believed that the Pachy used its helmet head to settle domestic and territorial disputes. However, it was later concluded that the skull was not apt for this kind of battery and no evidence of scarring has been observed in fossil samples.
The girl in this song however, may have taken this approach to garner the attention she craves and ward off anything that may be a threat to her selfish idea that the world revolves around her head.
The music was written with an aggressive, White Zombie approach. The synth lead was later written for a distant layer to appear in the verses while recording demo’s for the track but became the focal point of the song.
