I'm glad you came back and read it -I wanted to share my 'discovery' with someone lol-, I still haven't catched the movie on TV because it isn't that popular, you know. But I love the fact that Darren could be inspired by weird futuristic stories like that one! (I was so intrigued that I checked IMDB -Internet Movie Data Base- and in the 'quotes' section there is that one I copied above lol).
Whatever this song means in reality -and for each of us-, I am still fascinated by it. I think that in quite a simple way it talks about how our own mind can be our enemy sometimes. The sounds (very 90s), Darren's voice (young and passionate) and the regretful sentiment makes it one of my favourites (still). :'(
