I think this song is about a break up.

Getting over someone isn't easy, and where she says "Turn my grief to grace" is like asking for a break from the hurt and pain she's feeling.
"I feel the cold Loneliness unfold Like from another world"
The feeling on loneliness is something she has never felt before and it's so foreign to her like something from another world.
