I just wanted to mention that in the first round of the chorus, the last two lines go:
"I'll Say! A thousand words to get you out of your shirt I want to get into you"
Anyway.. to me, this song says you're never going to make everybody happy- whether you're a king, a president, a frontman in a band, in a relationship, or simply driving a car. If you're in any kind of position or task in which people can observe you, you're going to have your critics and haters.
