There are some things I really like about this song, and other things that ruin it for me.
First, the things I hate.

No, bad line. Take it out. Horrible.
"I missed my second chance- it flew right by,

Well, I am just so happy to have known you-
to have shown you all my life,

This whole beginning is horrid. Corny, and something that would never be said in any normal conversation.
Now for the redeeming parts.

if I am loved, whatever that may mean."
"Call your own bluff-
it's only truth that space will never be enough."
