It's a pretty lousy translation of the Swedish version, in my opinion. The chorus - which originally tied the scrambled lyrics together - is strangely the worst part of the English version, leaving the rest of the song as incoherent rambling.
I can't really say that I like the song all that much in either language, but at least from the Swedish lyrics it's seemingly about having a lot of material things, but not having anything that you really want or know what to do with. It's a bit like someone saying the old "Whoever has the most things when he dies, wins", and then this song coming along and asking "And then what?".
